Accessibility Information

Highland Haven Creekside Inn is listed on the National Register of Historic Places under the National Historic Preservation Act (16 U.S.C. 470 et seq.) or is designated as historic under State or local law (§ 36.405 Alterations: Historic preservation.). Thus, we are not able to offer handicap-accessible accommodations since such alterations would destroy the historical significance of the property. However, we are committed to doing whatever we reasonably can to make our property accessible. Therefore, we have added the following accessible features:

• We have 3 rooms that have parking spots that are level with the entrance. Creekside Cottage 2 is completely flat, Hillside Cottage One has one small step up to the patio that then leads to the door, and Fireside Loft has a step up into the room. We do have a wheelchair ramp for the two rooms that would need one for the step up. Our main building has one back door entrance that is flush with the ground, and you can park a car just outside of it.
• We are unable to provide ADA parking for 15 of our 18 rooms - including an unloading area and level surface with curb. None of our parking spots are covered. All of our parking spots are closest to each room's entrance - all rooms have private exterior entrances.
• Nothing projects into exterior walkways. The property is split level with the backside only being accessible via stairs or a steep road. All stairs have handrails.
